Diane Liebenson

Publisher, GreenBook Directories

Diane is the Publisher of the GreenBook & GreenBook Health Directories and brings over 15 years of product development, sales, and marketing experience in the healthcare field. She was founder and publisher for 11 years of the Center for Healthcare Information (now Dorland Healthcare Information), which publishes print and Internet directories, market research reports, and databases of healthcare and managed care organizations for pharma, hospital, and other healthcare clients. Diane has worked in senior marketing, sales, strategy and market research capacities at a number of organizations, including: Dorland Healthcare Information, Caremark Inc., The Lewin Group, The RAND Corporation, and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.

Ms. Liebenson received her BA with distinction from Stanford University, and a Masters degree in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Lukas Pospichal

Managing Director, GreenBook Directories

During his tenure on the GreenBook management team, Lukas has increased advertising sales and doubled the number of buyers of research services who use the directory. He has successfully introduced many innovative advertising opportunities for the directory described by many as the Bible of the marketing research industry. Prior to that, he designed and administered marketing campaigns and performed comprehensive market and financial analyses for firms in Prague and in Paris.

Lukas received his undergraduate degree in marketing from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris and his MBA from the University of Economics in Prague.

Leonard F. Murphy

Social Media Consultant

Lenny is a seasoned and respected industry leader with an entrepreneurial drive. He is a visionary entrepreneur and innovator, and has successfully established several companies in the MR space including Rockhopper Research, a leading full service global research firm and MDM Associates, a MR consulting firm, before founding his current company, BrandScan 360. Mr. Murphy is a key consultant and advisor to numerous market research agencies, and works across the industry to drive the development of innovative research practices by developing strategic alliances with multiple "best in class" providers. Lenny serves on the Board of The Market Research Global Alliance, the premier social network for the global MR profession. He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Research Industry Trends Monitoring Group & Publisher of the Research Industry Trends Study, the oldest study in the industry devoted to tracking changing trends in MR. Rounding out his busy professional life, he is the Editor in Chief of the GreenBook Blog.

Russell Perkins

Publishing Consultant

Russell is widely known as an information industry entrepreneur, consultant and pundit. He currently heads Infocommerce Group Inc., a publisher and consultancy serving database information producers.

Prior to that, Russell was CEO of Dorland Healthcare Information, a leading healthcare database producer. He also founded Morgan-Rand, which produced newsletters, conferences and research for information publishers, and which grew to become the nation's largest contract database publisher. Morgan-Rand operations were ultimately sold to Primedia and Volt Information Sciences. Russell has also worked in management positions at Legal Communications (now American Lawyer Media), North American Publishing, AT&T and Thomas Publishing.

Maryann Kuzel

Board Member

As Managing Director at Javelin NY, a marketing agency, Maryann works to further develop Javelin’s New York business, as well as to manage client relationships.

Maryann is an award-winning consumer agency marketing executive with over 20 years experience in both healthcare and consumer products. Most recently, she was Vice President of Account Management and New Business Development for the Patient Marketing Group, an agency specializing in CRM for pharmaceutical companies.

Maryann began her career at Procter & Gamble, followed by OTC positions at Warner Lambert, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Novartis. She then joined the prescription pharmaceutical industry at Hoffmann-LaRoche, first as Director of Metabolic Products and then as founder and head of the Consumer Marketing Leadership Center. Maryann then became Managing Director at McCann WorldGroup.

Maryann has won several industry awards, including three EFFIE AWARDS for effective advertising, and A GOLD REGGIE and PROMOTION OF THE YEAR for a revolutionary first-in-industry event marketing program. She earned her undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Chemical Engineering and Business, and received her MBA "with distinction" from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Rick Kendall

Board Member

Rick Kendall is Vice President of Research for MedMeme, LLC, a competitive intelligence company serving the healthcare industry. Recently he was President of IMPAKT Health, a multi-media communications company focused on complementary and alternative medicine. Previously, Rick was Vice President of Marketing for Cinemax, the pay television service owned by HBO, where he had responsibility for consumer and trade marketing for the brand.

Before assuming the Cinemax marketing role, Rick was Director of Market Research at HBO. The market research department continued to report to him as VP of Marketing at Cinemax.

Prior to joining HBO, Rick worked in market research on the supplier side at Yankelovich, Skelley and White in New York and Abt Associates, Inc. in Cambridge, MA. He has done research in package goods, public opinion and voter polls, newspaper and magazine readership, finance, and social policy issues and programs, as well as media and telecommunications.

Rick holds a Ph.D. in psychology from New York University.

Elliot Savitzky

Board Member

Mr. Savitzky is Vice President for the Financial Services Practice at Synovate in the Americas, currently managing a team of professionals to lead major accounts. With over twenty five years of experience in the research business, Elliot has consulted in the areas of both quantitative and qualitative research. Focusing on the Financial Services vertical, Elliot has specialized on issues related to advertising tracking, brand equity, segmentation, corporate reputation and customer loyalty.

Elliot's experience in Financial Services includes most of the key marketers including payments, banking investments, insurance, the ratings business and stock exchanges. His expertise has not been limited to domestic issues as he has had extensive experience investigating financial issues in the UK, Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Before joining Synovate, Elliot has held senior positions at Ipsos-ASI, Opinion Research Corporation and was a principle with Directions For Decisions. He has also worked on the advertiser side of the business with Pepsi-Cola and General Foods (now Kraft Foods).

Elliot has an B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Ruth Hurd
