Interview: Recruiting via Social Media with Simon Chadwick

by Dana Stanley, President, The Operandi Group

This is a video interview with Simon Chadwick, CEO of Peanut Labs. At a 2009 conference he presented on recruiting for online surveys through social media networks. Learn how one firm recruits and maintains their online communities.

Here is the first of eight interviews I did at this year’s Technology Conference of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO). The event was held at the Millenium Broadway in New York City on May 28th and 29th, 2009.

At the conference Simon Chadwick gave a presentation about Peanut Labs’ work to sample respondents for online surveys from within social networks. This approach differs from the typical approach of recruiting survey-takers to an online panel and inviting them to surveys using email.

Simon is an industry veteran who previously led global market research company NOP World. In addition to serving as CEO of Peanut Labs, Simon has a research industry consulting firm called Cambiar Consulting.
