Kinesis was founded on June 9, 2003 by Chief Executive Officer Leslie Townsend, Chief Technical Officer Juha Vehnia, and Senior Advisor Steve Lavine. The co-founders had advanced recognition that mobile devices would profoundly impact the practices of online market research, and capitalized on their foresight by developing the first mobile survey solution available to the industry.
