Hakuhodo (Hakuhodo Institute of Life and Living ASEAN)

Ryusuke Aoki, also known as Mike, is the Managing Director of the Hakuhodo Institute of Life and Living ASEAN (HILL ASEAN), based in Bangkok. He began his career as a strategic planner at McCann Tokyo and joined Hakuhodo’s strategic planning division in 2013. With an international background, having spent part of his childhood in California, Ryusuke specializes in cross-cultural brand communication, supporting global brands in Japan as well as Japanese brands expanding overseas. After spending several years at Hakuhodo’s strategy boutique, Paasons Advisory, he was appointed to lead the company’s global knowledge and insights initiatives in Southeast Asia.
