Client was interested in understanding the overall competitive landscape and wanted to collect perceptions on key competitors, value and credibility of current service offerings, needs and preferences of customers and prospects, as well as client challenges, pain points and unmet needs.

SOLUTION

Conducted focus groups across five different cities – 5 focus groups and 49 HR participants overall.

RESULT

Geo Strategy Partners provided a complete report of perceptions of the client as well as top competitors.  We delivered insights on the value of a payroll company to their customers; rating on “offering credibility” and “willingness to buy” of 16 different services for different vendors; assessment of preferences on Graphical User Interface of client and top competitors; and confirmation of customer challenges, pain points and unmet needs when handling payroll.

The client was given strategic recommendations to incorporate additional services that were poorly offered by main competitors.  Another opportunity involved delivering robust, flexible reporting options to customers, enabling enhancements to allow more self-service options and automation.
