CHALLENGE

Our client, a leading social media brand, needed to understand how their leading products fit with their 2025 platform and identify optimizations to better align with how people approach the category and their products specifically.

SOLUTION

We facilitated 5x 2-hr, in-person discussion groups to explore how people navigate social media. These sessions explored how participants discover local events, find and connect with communities, engage with video content, and stay updated on the lives of their friends and interests.


Additionally, we examined the 2025 positioning through the lens of each product. This analysis helped us understand how effectively each product delivers on the positioning and identify areas for improvement.


We also evaluated two new product ideas to gauge their alignment with the overall positioning and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.


RESULT

We delivered a quick turn strategic topline that highlighted the alignment of each product with the overarching 2025 strategic direction. The report included actionable guidelines and guardrails to optimize both the strategic positioning and the products themselves.
