Director, Market Research
Quest Diagnostics
Christina believes that “the things you see out of the corner of your eyes are the things that are most important,” words her late uncle Hank Virgona would tell her each time they spoke. Christina (a.k.a. Tina) is a high-impact, creative researcher who creates connections and thrives in a highly collaborative environment to deliver insightful research solutions to complex business challenges. She is a change agent and co-inspirer for insights, known for "turning dirt into diamonds" while collaborating with anyone that crosses her path. Tina brings a unique and valuable perspective from prior experience on both the client and agency sides of market research: Quest Diagnostics, AIG, Mastercard, IPSOS, GE, Duracell, and KANTAR Millward Brown. She’s a quick study and life-long learner who adapts to new industries, technologies (she named her team’s AI, “George”), and mixed methods. As a natural networker, she loves to meet people and tends to strike up conversations with perfect strangers. Tina’s curiosity has also encouraged her to try new things. As managing director and art curator for the late-NYC artist Hank Virgona, Tina oversees all marketing, sales, and operations for his work. In her spare time as a recent empty nester, she enjoys working out at Orangetheory, traveling, and most recently, followed U2 multiple times at their residency at the Sphere, in Las Vegas. Tina’s research range spans over 20-years of mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research. She’s a quick study and life-long learner (including a Six Sigma Quality Green Belt) who adapts to new industries, technologies, and methods. She also has a reputation for turning dirt into diamonds while collaborating with clients and colleagues. Tina is a change agent and co-inspirer for insights. As a client-side researcher, she was invited to present case studies and thought-leadership insights on a range of topics at several market research industry association conferences, including ESOMAR, Insights Association, IIeX, Quirk’s and TMRE. Tina obtained her MBA in marketing at Sacred Heart University, Jack Welch School of Business in Fairfield, Conn. and has a BA in economics from SUNY Stony Brook in Stony Brook, N.Y.
