John Livanos is Senior Vice President, HARMAN Lifestyle marketing, where he leads marketing for HARMAN’s consumer & professional lifestyle brands such as JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG, Martin Lighting, and others. His current focus is to lead a transformation agenda within HARMAN that includes building future marketing capabilities and developing a cross-functional operating model to accelerate marketing’s impact on business growth. With over three decades of experience, John has become an expert in building brands while delivering commercial results. Prior to becoming a marketer, John was a Brand Strategist and Consumer Insights Executive. He joined HARMAN in 2013 as the VP of Brand Strategy and Consumer Insights, later expanding his responsibilities to include portfolio management and global creative & content, before assuming the role of Head of Marketing. Prior to joining HARMAN, John spent 10 years at PepsiCo, where he held a variety of strategy and insights roles in both North America and Global. He started his career in market research, working at Heinz and various syndicated research suppliers.
