The client needed an unbiased, cross‑national measure of public attitudes and participation in activism in Nigeria and the USA, but fieldwork risked producing distorted results.
The stakes were high: inaccurate measurement would undermine the study’s academic value and leave policymakers without reliable evidence to inform democracy, human rights and social justice interventions in both countries.
TGM Research delivered a multi‑country online opinion survey using its online panels and quantitative data‑collection infrastructure. Services provided included study design, targeted online respondent recruitment in Nigeria and the USA, secure online data collection (total sample N=2,000), and expert data analysis and interpretation.
Our approach combined sampling and questionnaire design to reduce social desirability and non‑response bias and rigorous cross‑market data processing to enable valid comparisons.
TGM successfully completed the bi‑national survey (N=2,000) and produced robust, comparable insights into the role and forms of activism in Nigeria and the United States.
The project yielded evidence suitable for academic analysis and actionable guidance for policymakers working on social justice, civic participation and related policy areas in both nations. The client reported high satisfaction with project management, customisation and data quality.
