Harvest Insights ran a multi-phase AAU study: initial qualitative work to identify key selection variables, in-depth interviews and on-site PPE usage reviews, and a quantitative study spanning five countries and six industries. The research tracked usage by job function and measured attitudes toward product performance, safety, and environmental impact, with findings delivered in reports broken out by country and industry.
A global industrial hygiene and safety products manufacturer needed to understand how worker attitudes, usage patterns, and safety requirements for PPE and industrial wipers varied across international markets. Cultural and regulatory differences, product-specification gaps, and inconsistent usage patterns by country and industry were affecting product design, marketing, and distribution decisions.
The study surfaced clear regional differences in product adoption and worker attitudes, giving the client a roadmap for product development and market-specific positioning going forward.
