He has published over 200 scientific papers in media psychology with >30K Google Scholar citations; h-index=70. He is the author of award-winning books: The Media Equation and Total Engagement. He holds three software patents in human-computer interaction with two patents pending for AI and media evaluations. He is co-founder of two early-stage startups in computational human-media interactions. He spent two years at Microsoft Research developing automated dialogue systems. He has been a consultant to leading companies including P&G, Disney, ABC, Accenture, Google, Best Buy, SAP, Amazon, Toyota, Salesforce, State Farm, and United Healthcare.
