BVA wins the 2015 Excellence Award for Best Paper for its nudge approach
BVA has just received this year's prestigious Excellence for Best Paper award at the ESOMAR Congress in Dublin.
The advertising industry has Cannes Lions, the sports industry the World Cup... and the market research industry has ESOMAR! It was during the recent annual ESOMAR Congress in Dublin that BVA and SGMAP won the Excellence Award for Best Paper, having already won Best Case History in 2014.
The ESOMAR Excellence Award for Best Paper is awarded to a paper presenting an innovative and creative research approach, likely to meet the challenges faced by market research today.
The paper entitled "French Government: Nudge me Tender" presents the nudge approach led by BVA and the Secretariat-General for Government Modernization (SGMAP) in partnership with the General Directorate of Public Finances (DGFiP) to encourage French users to use online tax administration services.

The prize rewards the ambition of the BVA Nudge Unit which uses Behavioral Economics and nudge to bring about behavioral change in companies and local authorities.
