Wale Omiyale is a Senior Vice President at Confirmit and has over fifteen years' experience in research. He spent more than a decade in the financial services industry, with Abbey National, Allied Bank, IAF Asset Management and First Union (US), developing new business products within private banking and mortgage finance; and holds an MBA in International Business and Strategy from Cass Business School.

A recognised authority on the evolution of Market Research strategies and the convergence of MR with Voice of the Customer techniques, he speaks regularly at industry conferences and events. At Confirmit, he focuses on the implementation of technology as a business improvement strategy, working closely with leading research agencies across Europe and Asia Pacific, helping them to implement innovative MR programs using the most up-to-date data collection channels and practices available, including mobile and the role of social media research.

MATT WARTA

Over the past 15 years, Matt has been a mainstay in the entrepreneurial community co-founding two companies and funding dozens of others. Prior to GutCheck, he was a General Partner with Village Ventures growing the firm's investments from $100M to $750M. He also co-founded and led business development for CyberCrop, which pioneered online trading of agricultural commodities. As a member of Koch Ventures, Matt led several investments that either went public or were acquired. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Consultant in Deloitte's financial services practice. Matt is also a diehard Jayhawk having graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA and MBA.

KEVIN LONNIE

Mr. Lonnie founded KL Communications in 1996 after working on both the client and supplier side. He has earned a reputation as being at the forefront of using the principles of agile iteration and customer co-creation.

Mr. Lonnie has presented at numerous ARF, AMA, MRA, ESOMAR & IIR Conferences over the past three years, focusing on the impact of disruptive tools and their implications for our industry. Kevin is past Treasurer and Executive Board member of the MRA (Marketing Research Association). Mr. Lonnie is also past president of the Interactive Marketing Research Organization (IMRO).

Melanie serves as Executive Vice President of Global Products & Client Services at Research Now. Since joining the company in 2011, Melanie has played an integral role shaping a team that is passionate about research sampling, quality and world class client service. She has also played a key role in guiding the product development and thought leadership advances made at the company.

Melanie has spent two decades designing, executing, and interpreting research for agencies and corporations, and is an industry voice in market research for trends and the next generation of data collection. Known as an expert methodologist, she started her career at a full-service research firm in Dallas where she spent ten years developing her strong research background. She then followed that with a decade specializing in all forms of digital research including online, mobile and social. Melanie has successfully developed and launched leading sampling platforms, routers, methodology best practices, panels and research products.

Melanie has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. She also serves on several quality councils where she contributes to standards and codes of conduct; serves on boards for industry organizations including the ARF, CASRO and MRA; is a U.S. representative to ESOMAR; is heavily involved in chairing and speaking at industry conferences; and is an award winning writer, researcher, and voice of data quality and best practices. Melanie’s co-authored paper, “Multimode, Global Scale Usage: Understanding respondent scale usage across borders and devices,” was awarded Best Methodological Paper at ESOMAR Congress 2013, and received the prestigious ESOMAR Excellence Award for Best Paper of the Year at ESOMAR Congress 2014.

LEONARD MURPHY

Leonard "Lenny" Murphy has been in the Market Research industry for over a decade in various senior level roles, most notably as CEO of full service agency Rockhopper Research, CEO of tech-driven start-up BrandScan360, and Senior Partner of strategic consultancy Gen2 Advisors. A major aspect of his work focuses on collaborating with multiple organizations to help advance innovation and strategic positioning of the market research industry, most prominently as the Editor-in-Chief of the GreenBook Blog and GreenBook Research Industry Trends Report, 2 of the most widely read and influential publications in the global insights industry. Mr. Murphy is a key consultant to numerous insight-focused organizations on both the supplier and client side and an advisor to several technology focused start-ups via his consulting practice. He is involved with numerous organizations including the Insight Innovation Exchange, The ARF, NY AMA, NewMR & MRGA. He also Chairs and produces conferences globally in collaboration with other leading organizations, and speaks about the future of insights and how to deliver maximum business impact at many events annually.
