FocusVision Grows National Sales Team, Adds New Positions

Stamford, CT – May 19, 2015 – FocusVision, a comprehensive technology company for quantitative and qualitative research, has added five new team members to its sales and business development team including industry veteran Gene Filipi (formerly with Kinesis – bio below). This new wave of hiring comes on the heels of massive growth for the company over the last year, during which FocusVision acquired market research technology companies Revelation, Decipher and ResearchReporter.

Stephanie Ball, Business Development Director: With a strong background in customer service stemming from years in the hospitality industry, Ball brings this experience into the market research space to work effectively and creatively with clients. Prior to joining FocusVision, Ball worked in market research sales and client relations, approaching each project with “outside the box” thinking that has helped her to succeed. She attended the University of Wyoming.

Tyler Breilein, Business Development Director: With 10 years in business development, Breilein has spent the last five years working in the market research industry. In his position, he focuses on clear communication, taking care of customers and solving problems, all while growing and diversifying FocusVision’s client base. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, advertising and logistics from Central Michigan University.

Donald Bresee, Director, Key Accounts: Bresee joined FocusVision four years ago as part of its quantitative branch, Decipher. He’s held the positions of both account manager and account executive during his tenure, and is excited to now be moving into the sales department. Prior to joining FocusVision, he worked in sales for a software provider to local government agencies and payroll software. He holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fresno.

Gene Filipi, Business Development Director: Filipi has two decades of experience working in software and technology sales and sales management. He is an expert in the data collection software and market research space of mobile survey, web survey and panel management software applications of all size. In his position with FocusVision, he will help clients achieve business insights more efficiently and effectively. He currently serves as the president of the San Francisco American Marketing Association and holds a degree from Doane College.

James Robertson, Key Account Director: Originally joining Decipher, FocusVision’s quantitative research arm, Robertson has served as both account manager and account executive for the company over the past five years. Prior to Decipher, James worked for 10 years as an Operations Manager for a large software/networking firm.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Mandarin Chinese from the University of Utah.

Nicholas Suggs, Business Development Director: With a strong background working in sales and development at leading technology companies, Suggs has worked with top executives and Fortune 500 companies over the course of his career. In his position at FocusVision, he works with the company’s Consumer Product Group.He holds an undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and a master of business administration from American University.
