The next AIMRI meeting will be in Barcelona on Friday 8 March 2013. The subject will be “Getting ahead in the battle for global growth”. A key theme will also be “Reaching out to new markets”. The speaker line-up will mirror the wide ranging interests and geographical dispersion of AIMRI membership. For example:
Michael Stanat of SIS International Research (with offices in New York and Shanghai) will chair the conference. He will also address the question about how we meet the challenges arising from growth in Asia and in particular in China. His topic will be “Global transformation: how research can meet the needs of a rising Asia”.
Luis Noriega (from Mexico) will discuss the development of online research in LATAM. Sola Akinnagbe (from Nigeria) will explain the potential for large ad-hoc studies in Africa. Catherine Delcin (from the United States) will talk about the need for market research in the outsourcing process.
The conference will be in the comfortable (and central) NH Calderon Hotel in Barcelona. All researchers are welcome and we anticipate a lively discussion of this key subject.
