With over 15 years of insights experience, Angela Smith leads the Insights team at Talking Rain Beverage Company, advancing the company’s vision of being consumer-driven and brand-led by championing the authentic voice of the consumer in every strategic decision. She has accelerated speed to market by implementing new tools, data, and partnerships that strengthened the company’s consumer-insights foundation and helped fuel innovations such as Sparkling Ice +Caffeine and Popwell. In addition to guiding product development, Angela’s team monitors the social, political, environmental, economic, and health forces shaping consumer behavior, advocating for insight-driven empathy that elevates brand experiences. She holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Marketing Research from the University of Texas at Arlington and previously held roles at The Hartman Group, Aperio Insights, and Lego.
