Holiday wishes and thanks to the community for a great year as 2010 comes to a close.
It’s been a rollercoaster year, hasn’t it? I don’t remember a year with more ups and downs and turn-arounds than 2010. We’ve seen the emergence of whole new methods and the beginnings of a radical shift of the practice and very meaning of market research. Companies have closed and others have been born, and everyone has been scrambling to get some clarity on what the future holds for us all. But through it all, there has been one shining success… and that is the wonderful connections forged as a result of this blog.
You have all been amazing with your generous sharing of time, expertise and resources! This blog has grown tremendously through the spirit of cooperation and sharing. It is what the season is all about, but you all practice it every day.
I’m very proud that we have earned the respect and trust of every one of our readers; we all look forward to continuing to do so in 2011 and beyond!
As we wrap up the year, look for several new posts on the year in review and predictions for 2011, in addition to any news that impacts the market research industry. In the meantime, I hope you have a wonderful, memorable and safe Holiday. Or as I heard on the radio that made me laugh out loud: “During this holy season, I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Merry Festivus, Happy Kwaanza, and for all you atheists – have a nice day.”
