antedote is a strategic insight and innovation consultancy founded in San Francisco in 2012, with teams in San Francisco, New York, and London. We work with insight, innovation, and strategy leaders at 80+ global brands, on the whole journey from the first hint of an opportunity through concept development, validation, market entry, and portfolio decisions. What makes us different is where we start: the decision. Every engagement is designed around the choice it has to support, and it ends with the evidence in full and a recommendation we'd stand behind, with senior partners staying close until the decision sticks. We're methodologically broad and deliberately method-agnostic: ethnography, online communities, focus groups, depth interviews, co-creation, segmentation, U&A, conjoint and trade-off analysis, concept and claims testing, market sizing, and volume forecasting, all run in-house since 2012. We build much of our own stimulus, from provocations and concepts at rising fidelity to pack designs and prototypes in hand, and we work directly with R&D and engineering teams to bridge what can be built and what people actually want. Multi-market work is a specialty: single programs across as many as 20 markets, carried by the same senior team, producing one strategy with the local nuance required to use it. Our engagement intelligence system, Tei, preserves the depth of qualitative evidence rather than compressing it; the judgment stays human, and nothing clients share enters a model training set.
