The call for speakers for the Insight Innovation eXchange North America 2014 is now open and will run through March 14th. IIeX North America 2014 will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on June 16-18, 2014. The conference will continue to focus on connecting client-side insights departments with the innovative solutions they need to make business impact.

IIeX is the product of years of working to help the research industry grow and prosper during challenging times and we are extremely proud of the impact we’ve had so far and are excited about the new opportunities this further global expansion will provide for us all. IIeX is not the usual market research conference, and we intend to continue to experiment with format and topics while building upon the proven success of our events in 2013.
One of the major ways we’ll be pushing the limits this year is through our relationship with Lowe’s Innovation Lab and Georgia Tech and the extensive hub of incubators, accelerators, and innovation labs located at Tech Square, part of our event venue. We plan to devote an entire day to showcasing disruptive startups and proving that innovation is indeed occurring in marketing insights, and it’s being discussed on stage at IIeX.
I invite everyone to get a glimpse of the incredibly diverse and high quality content to expect at IIeX North America 2014 by checking out our Insight Innovation content platform at www.insightinnovation.org, which features talks from our previous events. And here is a teaser from IieX in Philadelphia:
The last Insight Innovation eXchange conference held in North America in June 2013 welcomed over 450 marketing and insights professionals. In 2014, IIeX North America is expanding to host over 650 participants and dozens of startups who will present their solutions in response to business challenges shared by GreenBook’s corporate partners and other leading brands.
The conference also hosts the Insight Innovation Competition, whose mission is to help budding entrepreneurs bring disruptive ideas to life while connecting brands to fresh and untapped sources of competitive advantage through deeper consumer understanding.
“I am a fan of IIeX. My hope is that this will be a starting point for the market research industry to truly think differently and become the provocateurs and leaders we ought to be. The speed-dating sessions for new, innovative companies and buyers of research were extremely helpful for me as I was able to vet many companies in a very shot period of time. I left with a number of great contacts and new ideas as a direct result,” said attendee Kyle Nel, International and Multicultural Research of Lowe’s Home Improvement.
“It is time to be brave and courageous — time to reinvent ourselves and our industry. If the nearly 500 people present at IIeX are leading that charge, I have no doubt that we will not only evolve, but transform ourselves. For the first time in over twenty years, I didn’t feel overwhelmed by agencies at a conference (and yes, I felt some trepidation going in). The feeling I experienced was one of collaboration and shared goals–the clients, the agencies, the tech companies, and academia, all seeking that bright new future. The event was incredible,” said attendee Lisa Courtade, Executive Director, Merck & Co., Inc.
Following a conference model that has been deemed successful by previous IIeX attendees, the upcoming Insight Innovation Exchange North America will feature:
Additionally, the event will host the Insight Innovation Challenge, presenting technology startups with new solutions to client challenges, and the Insight Innovation Competition through which the industry will judge innovative market research solution ideas based on their market potential.
IIeX North America is part of a global conference series launched by GreenBook in 2013. Upcoming events include IIeX Europe 2014, to be held in Amsterdam on February 19-20, and IIeX Latin America 2014, to be held in Santiago de Chile on April 8-9.
