Costis Kompis

Dr. Costis Kompis is CTO of DigitalMR. Costis has 18 years of professional experience, combining international R&D with innovation management and technology commercialization. During the last six years he helped setup and deliver R&D and innovation projects with value in excess of ‚C¨80m including the European projects FeedNetBack, RAPPORT, PUMA MIND and VIGOR++. His technical work has received several awards, including a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, an EPSRC Realizing Our Potential Award, a Nokia Invention Award, and the Ericsson First Award of Excellence in Telecommunications. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (on Machine Learning), an MSc in Technology and Innovation Management and a MEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering. He has also been trained in project management, intellectual property exploitation, strategic road-mapping and contract law. His main responsibility is to ensure delivery of DigitalMR‚Aos technology roadmap.
