Amber Strain

Dr. Amber Strain is the Senior Director of Cognitive Science at Decooda. Amber is an accomplished research scientist who has expertise in cognitive and experimental psychology. She received a Masters Degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Memphis, and a Ph.D. from the same university with a concentration in Cognitive Psychology. Amber is experienced in academic and industry environments and has published empirical papers in top-tier peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings related to emotion, learning, cognition and metacognition. Her areas of expertise include emotion and cognition, quantitative and qualitative research design, experimental research methodology, social media marketing analysis, and statistical modeling. Amber is involved in various ministry and outreach programs in the greater Atlanta and Memphis areas, and is looking forward to serving abroad in the future.
