It feels like every time you turn around, some other bit of yesterday’s science fiction has become part of today’s science reality, and we have to wonder, “Is the future of insights already here?” However, Greenbook’s Insight Innovation Competition continues to demonstrate no matter how much “future-proofing” might grind down into “present-proofing” under the tire treads of time, there is still plenty of “proofing” – and “proving” – yet to come.
This year’s competition wowed insights professionals at IIEX North America, opening eyes - and minds - to the possibilities of behavioral test-and-learn platforms, conversion of retail data into consumer profiles in heretofore unimaginable ways, simultaneous data collection and modeling to augment and improve datasets, and many other seeming miracles of modern innovation. Innovators are not only solving problems that have always plagued traditional research, they are fulfilling needs you didn’t know you had.
These are not miracles. These are science and technology which put data sources, business issues, and practical needs together in ways only an avid innovator could envision.
These entrepreneurs are too new to know how to bore you with sales puffery; they are passionate founders eager to introduce their brainchildren to the big world. We hesitate to call them “cutting-edge” because over-use has dulled that term’s sharpness; they’re much keener than that.
Whether your area of focus is research, analytics, marketing, product development, or any other field that uses insights, this tech showcase will speak to you.
